Six Decades of Strength, Craftsmanship, and Integrity.
Founded in 1961 by Jack Brown, Transco Industries began as a small Portland-based fabrication shop supporting local industries. What started with a single welding crew has grown into a full-scale operation providing precision steel fabrication, custom design, and field services across the United States.
Over the decades, Transco earned its reputation through integrity, craftsmanship, and innovation. From early conveyor systems to large-scale hydroelectric projects, our company evolved alongside the industries we serve — always keeping quality and safety at the core of our work.
Today, as a family-led company, Transco remains committed to the same values that shaped its foundation: precision in every detail, honest communication, and an unwavering dedication to our clients’ success.

YEARS OF CRAFTSMANSHIP
Innovative craftsmen & problem-solving specialists
For three generations Transco has paired hands-on craftsmanship with modern CNC technology to deliver heavy-steel projects that meet the industry’s toughest safety and quality standards. Our welders, fabricators, machinists and inspectors hold AISC and AWS credentials, following an ISO-aligned QA/QC program that records every weld and coating.
From the first model review to final bolt-up in the field, the same specialists who cut, fit and weld your steel are ready for on-site installations, rigging and emergency repairs—so fit-up questions are solved before they become delays.
